These License Terms govern the use of music tracks purchased or downloaded from Scores for Change (“the Library”). By downloading, purchasing, or using music from the Library, you (“the Licensee”) agree to these terms.
For enrolled students or educators using music in school projects, presentations, or student films. Not for commercial use, monetization, or broadcast.
For personal creators posting on social platforms. Monetization allowed, but not for paid ads or brand sponsorships.
For businesses, agencies, and freelancers using music in ads, branded content, podcasts, websites, etc. Excludes theatrical release and broadcast media.
For films, television, theatrical release, and streaming distribution. Does not allow reselling or standalone distribution.

Back to top ↑The Library provides music “as is” without warranties. The Library is not liable for damages. Licensee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Library from any third-party claims.
Back to top ↑The Library is not responsible for platform disputes or Content ID claims. Proof of license may be provided upon request, but Licensees are solely responsible for resolving disputes with platforms.
Back to top ↑To the fullest extent permitted by law, Licensees and Contributors waive any moral rights (including objection to modifications or use context).
Back to top ↑Licensees acknowledge that proceeds from licensing will be donated to nonprofit organizations at the discretion of the Library. The Library may retain reasonable administrative expenses and does not guarantee donation to any specific nonprofit.
Back to top ↑The Library reserves the right to revoke a license if breached. Upon termination, Licensee must cease use. Licenses already granted remain valid.
Back to top ↑This Agreement is governed by the laws of Oregon. Disputes must be resolved exclusively in the courts of Portland, OR. Licensees waive the right to participate in class actions. At the Library’s discretion, disputes may be resolved by binding arbitration.
